Technique Class #4

My technique classes have become very popular! We meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month with a repeat class the following Friday! Here are the 3 techniques that we did at our September Class:

Glitter Window: This technique is quick and easy and a great way to add a little sparkle to you cards. All you need is a little “packing tape”!

Supplies: Seeing Spots, Lovely Lilac (Cardstock, Ink), Cameo Coral (Cardstock, Ink), Green Galore (Ink), Certainly Celery (Cardstock, Grospgrain Ribbon), Whisper White, Packing Tape, Dazzling Diamonds, Circle Punches.

Polished Stone: Create a great metallic background with your re-inkers, and a little alcohol. The color combinations are endless.

Supplies: Looks Like Spring, Wonderful Words, Brilliant Blue (Cardstock), Ballet Blue (Cardstock, Reinker), Old Olive (Cardstock, Reinker), Metallic Gold Reinker, Basic Black Classic Ink, Alcohol, Cotton Balls.

Colored Soot Stampin: Thought it’s hard to see in the photo, instead of using the stamp to apply ink, you use it to pull the soot off the card revealing your image. And just a hint….be careful playing with fire because you can easily burn your edges.

Supplies: Carved and Candlelight, Weathered Background, Pumpkin Pie (Cardstock, Ink), Basic Black (Cardstock, Ink), Glossy Cardstock, Ticket Corner Punch. Taper Candle.
