Okay…so it’s Monday not Saturday but it’s been one of those cold, rainy, did I mention cold weekends where you really didn’t want to do much but hide under a big warm blanket. Well unfortunately for me I couldn’t do that. I got to go into work on Saturday and do an upgrade to our software (one of the fun perks of being an IT Geek). I was really surprised that it only took four hours and went extremely smooth. Then I came home, did countless loads of laundry and got things ready for my Lunch Tin class I did yesterday. I also managed to do some reorganizing in my stamp room to get ready for a new year. I’ve got so many things planned it’s not funny. Can’t wait to get my hands on the new Spring & Summer Catalog. So many have already received theirs and I’m JEALOUS!! I want it in my hot little hands so I can start making my WISH LIST! I’ve been reading all the wonderful spoilers that have been shared over on my favorite place on the web: Splitcoaststampers and I already know of several things that I just have to have. Maybe I’ll be surprised tomorrow and find it in my mailbox. If I do, you’ll be the first to know!!

Okay…so on with the goodies from my craft bazaars. I want to do a few new things this year and I’m really pleased with the way they turned out and how popular they were with those who stopped by and visited me.

This was my booth at Moore High School. I was on a corner and LOVED IT! I had so much room I didn’t know how to act. I loved being able to spread out and show lots of different things both as a demonstrator and a crafter.

Aren’t these cute!! These were just a few of the Jumbo Binder Clips that I did. I had so much fun making these and they were so easy!! Definitely going to be something I share with my stamp clubbers in the coming months. And come to think of it, might have to make a few to give to my coworkers for a little Christmas gift.

These Jumbo Paper Clips were really popular for coworkers and teachers. I have made some that were a size smaller but saw this size on The Stamping Librarian’s Blog and knew I had to make a trip to Staples so I could make some too!! I stamped on our designer papers using the Doodle Stamp Set and just love how they turned out.

This is the busy gal’s version of “Christmas Fudge”. I did two kinds: Hershey Milk Chocolate and Kit Kat Bars wrapped in our Dashing Designer Papers. I hate that it’s being retired. It’s definitely one of my favorite papers so I have to stock up before it’s gone! There is a little poem on each one that reads: I had “SWEET” intentions, But my schedule would not budge. So here’s this year’s edition of Homemade Christmas Fudge. Here’s a basket full of my Apple Cider Sliders. These were another of the hot items for coworkers. Made out of a half sheet cardstock that I wheeled with a jumbo roller and decorated with various holiday stamps. These little note card totes only took 3 sheets of 8.5 x 11 cardstock and a few scraps to make. They also had a matching pen but I took the picture before I added them to each set. Another thing I know my clubbers will love to learn to make.

This awesome idea came from my wonderful upline, Amy Beaman. It was such a simple design but it couldn’t have been a better choice for teachers. The apple is from the retired set Lady Buds and the words from Much Appreciated which is retiring this month.

This is another of Amy’s clever ideas she calls “Create A Card Kits”. There was several salutations to choose from (Merry & Bright, Thinking of You, Much Appreciated, Happy Birthday) and included everything all ready cut and stamped to make 15 cards. It also included the envelopes and an instruction sheet showing you several different layouts. Prefect for the busy gal who only has a few minutes to spare. I wish I would have thought of this. I also had 2-5-7-10 boxes decorated and filled with peppermints, sour creme containers with candy, nugget boxes, 2×2 tiles, and post it note holders made from acrylic frames. All of these items (aside from the Create A Card Kits) can be done for any occassion and will be things that I show in my upcoming stamp clubs. Would love the chance to get to show all of you how to do them.
