Isn’t this cute? I’ve never really tried doing any punch art before but was looking for a turtle card and couldn’t resist this one:
Supplies for card: Old Olive Cardstock, Kiwi Kiss Cardstock, Certainly Celery Cardstock, Old Olive Striped Grosgrain, Big Shot and Backgrounds #1 Textured Plates.
Supplies for turtle: 1 3/8 and 1 1/4″ for the body, 3/4″ for the head, 1/4″ for the eyes and dots on turtle’s back, 1/8″ circle for black pupils, Horizontal Slot for tail, Word window for arms & legs.
I have been waiting for the chance to use my Stars Sizzix Die and love how this turned out. The stamped image is one of the retired military sets from Stampin’ Up and is done in the collage technique. I made this for a special marine that had surgery recently and hope he likes it. It’s hard to tell in the pictures but the metal tag in the corner says MARINES!
