I can’t believe that a whole month has passed since I posted last. The past month flew by and its been nonstop for both my family and my business! The past two weeks have been spent getting things ready for TODAY! The day my baby girl Sara graduated from the 8th Grade! While it’s been an exciting day it’s also been emotional and bittersweet. It’s been a harsh reality check that I haven’t really wanted to grasp. Today means my baby isn’t a baby any longer. She’s all grown up and will be starting high school in the fall. It means my older daughter Shelby will be a sophomore in college and that much closer to joining the fleet as a naval nurse. It means my sons are grown men who never cease to amaze me every single day! It means I’ll have been married to Mark for 20 years in September. And it means I’ll be joining the Nifty Fifty Club in December. How is all this remotely possible? Today I finally came to the realization that the same increments of time that seemed to drag on and last forever when I was a little kid are the same increments that are now flying by in what feels like a blink of an eye. I better grab on tight and enjoy every single blink because each one of them is more precious than the next and I want them all to last forever.
Isn’t it amazing how life works?
