Isn’t this cute?? I have been wanting to use my chipboard license plates for months now. Tonight I finally had a chance to sit down and make these for Shelby and her roomie, Joy to hang on their dorm door. This one is for Joy who is a theatre major. I know there isn’t any current Stampin’ Up products used (Headline Alphabet is retired) but I’m so pleased with how it turned out I just had to share it! It’s really a fun project and definitely one I’ll be doing a lot more of for my upcoming craft bazaars and Christmas gifts.
Here is a close up view so you can see some of the little details specific to Joy. Chicago, The Color Purple, and Progy en Bess are all posters that she has hanging in her room. Her favorite color is red and since I knew she had a major part in Chicago as the gal whose husband ran into her knife 10 times I had to do the black and red ribbon like they used the red scarf. He had it coming!!
