My son Joey’s girlfriend Kristin is graduating today from the University of Louisville and this is the card I made for her.  I was inspired by a card by Monica Weaver and knew I had to case it the minute I saw it. I did make a few minor changes based on the supplies I had.  It features the “Happy Grad” stamp from the New Summer Mini and what a great deal at just $8.95.  I love the metal look and it was so easy to create with everyday aluminum foil that I put inside the “Elegant Bouquet” Embossing Folder and ran through my Big Shot.

This is the inside and you can’t really tell by the photo but the layered section at the bottom with the Louisville Cardinals (GO CARDS) is actually a pocket where I’ll tuck her gift!  I love how this turned out and I hope she does too!
Supplies used:
  • Stamps:  Happy Grad, Whimsical Words (Occassions Mini)
  • Cardstock: Real Red Textured, Basic Black, Whisper White
