Today is the first in the series of Friday Frenzy Sketches and I’m so excited to be participating. Each Friday a different stamper from our group of wonderful stampers will design a sketch and it’s our task to create a card using it.
So without further ado, here is the first sketch by Melinda Couden:

I can’t tell you how excited I am with how this turned out. I’m not sure you can tell from the photo but both the Rose Red layer and the butterfly are up on Stampin’ Dimensionals and I randomly stamped the stem and leaves image down the left side in Night of Navy. I have to be honest, when I saw the line of 5 embellishments at the top right, I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to pull them off in a way that I’d like. But the tiny Clear Circle Rhinestone Brads worked great and are just the pop it needed. I also couldn’t believe how quickly this card came together compared to the amount of time it usually takes me to do one from scratch. I have a feeling me and “sketches” are going to become good buddies.
