I had an incredible time in Nashville for my first Leadership Convention!  And while I had good intentions to try and blog each day, the connection at the Opryland Hotel (yes Opryland Hotel) left little to be desired as it was S—–L—–O—–W—–A—–S—–M—–O—–L—–A—–S—–S—–E—–S!  I took quite a few pictures, swapped for lots of incredible cards, enjoyed meeting lots of new friends, had 3 awesome roomie (Hi Tammy, Diane, and Pam — waving frantically), shopped Momento Mall, fell in love with the Simply Adorned line, screamed and yelled, AND came home with a not so nice case of bronchitis that I’m still trying to get over. It’s been crazy since I got home with not feeling 100% but between Flex Club, workshops, downline meetings, and coughing…it’s been impossible to post.  I will get back on track as promised starting right now.

This is one of my FAVORITE PICTURES from Leadership!  And I still can’t believe that I was able to get my picture taken with Shelli Gardner not once but twice!  She is the sweetest most down to earth person and she just makes you feel special when you talk to her!  I could have stood and talked to her for hours but I don’t think the other ladies waiting in line would have appreciated me hogging her for that long.  She and her husband Sterling were all over Leadership and made it a point to be accessible to all of us every chance they had.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I had a short list of top demonstrators that I JUST HAD TO MEET while I was in Nashville!  And although one was not able to be there (sad face — Patty Bennett), I did get to meet the others and they did not disappoint! Both of them are incredible ladies and the minute I started talking to them, I felt like I’d known them forever. Now I know you are probably thinking…okay Donna, where’s the proof?  Well you’ll just have to come back tomorrow and I’ll fill you in on who they are!

Till next time….Happy Stampin’!
