Monthly Stamp A Stack - Christmas Cards - #1

One of my favorite classes on my calendar is my Monthly Stamp A Stack! It’s a fun way to make a stack of cards to have on hand for your card box. There are 4 different designs per session and those attending make 5 of each – going home with 20 cards. Each month we do a different theme and I always look forward to July/August when we get a head start on Christmas Cards and I continue that theme through November.

It’s always fun deciding on the different designs and colors! Anyone who knows me and has been to my Christmas Card SAS over the years, knows that I don’t always stick to the “traditional” Christmas colors! I love trying different color combinations but I do enjoy using all the shades of reds and greens that Stampin’ Up! has to offer. I also try to stick to simple, easy to duplicate designs that can be used for a variety of occasions thru the year.

We just finished up the last Christmas Card session and over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing all the cards that we’ve done over the past 4 months!

This card uses the Carols of Christmas Stamp Set that Stampin’ Up! released from the Holiday Catalog early! I love the large font on the words as well as the smaller images that can be used both as a main focal point or as accents. To make it even more fun is the coordinating dies called Card Front Builder Thinlits. This set of dies not only has some adorable images but creates some very unique borders and corners to enhance your project! I can see myself using these on a lot of different cards and not just Christmas! I also used the Be Merry Designer Series Paper! This 12×12 paper has so many different patterns as well as solids that will work well with a variety of Christmas creations.
