All About Tools!

it’s the 14th of the month and time for another Stampers Dozen Blog Hop!  This month it’s all about Tools!  This topic was a little tough for me because I couldn’t just pick one tool to focus on because I have three “go-to” products that I use pretty much every time I make a project of any kind. I guess you could say they are like my business partners so to speak and I can’t imagine creating with without them!

What are they? I’m talking about the Simply Scored (Pg 151 – 122334), Bone Folder (Pg 151 – 102300), and the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine (Pg 153 – 149653/150673).  With them all projects are possible!

Easel Card uses all 3!

I love how easily this easel card, featuring some of the new 2021-2023 In Color products, came together.  It’s so easy to get precise score markings for all three (3) folds using the Simply Scored and I love that because of it’s 12×12 size, any size cardstock fits with ease. Using my bone folder, I was able to burnish those folds to a crisp edge that allows the card to lay flat when closed or stand tall when open.

The main focal point, stamped with the Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set, is backed in Evening Evergreen cardstock that has been die cut from the new Scalloped Contours Dies using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine!  I absolutely love this new machine and how smooth and easy it is to use!  Even the most intricate dies cut cleanly and with very little need to manually poke the pieces out plus embossing folders (both regular and dynamic 3D) run through just as smooth with a very crisp impression!

If you don’t have my 3 tool partners in your stamping collection, consider adding them so you too can make gorgeous stepped up projects like my easel card.
